WiBT’s Global Chapters fully launched a year ago and emerged from the core of our mission – to connect, support, and elevate women in blockchain, globally.
WiBT Women in Blockchain Talks‘ vision was, and continues to be, to build a platform that transcends borders creating a secure and safe space where women from diverse corners of the world can come together, share experiences, and foster a community that empowers each member.
Our focus is on women and women leadership but our community and platform are open to ALL genders!
In Lavinia D. Osbourne‘s signature style, the founder of WiBT, she shares her passion for the global network, stating, “WiBT Global Chapters are a manifestation of our commitment to breaking barriers. It’s a tapestry of shared knowledge, experiences, and unwavering support, uniting women who are forging their paths in technology, in particular emerging tech for good! And for all!.”

WiBT Global Chapters is a response to the growing need for in-person events that give participants the opportunity to learn from other leaders and spokespeople in the blockchain and web3 space.
You cannot talk about diversity and inclusion without doing diversity and inclusion. As such this, initiative has created collaborations, knowledge exchange, and mentorship, breaking down geographical barriers and connecting like-minded individuals passionate about advancing diversity, and tech for good, in the industry.
The WiBT Global Chapters have not only impacted individual members but have also contributed to the broader landscape of women in blockchain. We are grateful as well as excited by this!
As we celebrate our one-year anniversary, the focus is firmly set on the future. The journey so far has laid a strong foundation for growth and expansion.
