In a world driven by technological advancements, it’s imperative to recognize and celebrate the contributions of individuals from diverse backgrounds. Black Tech Day, a groundbreaking event that took place recently, did exactly that. It was a day filled with inspiration, innovation, and a celebration of excellence within the tech industry.
Representation matters. Black Tech Day was more than just an event; it was a platform that aimed to bridge the representation gap within the tech sector. Historically, this industry has been lacking in diversity, with minority voices often going unheard. However, this event shattered those barriers, bringing together a dynamic community of Black tech professionals, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts.
On the first day of “Black Tech Day”, Lavinia Osbourne, Founder & CEO of Women In Blockchain Talks was joined on stage by Ninja from Blockchain Sensei and CEO, Terry Igharoro of Inventory Club.
Lavinia gave an exceptional opening speech on Blockchain, Crypto and #AI.
“Blockchain is such a powerful technology that can be used to leverage #ai under the belt of Data Privacy and Security”, she added.
Watch the video below as Lavinia explains blockchain technology and its ecosystem in a simplified way.
